GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Matt Kenney scored 21 points, and Valparaiso clinched sole possession of the Horizon League regular-season title Saturday with a 75-56 victory over Green Bay.

Kenney was 7 of 7 from the field, including 6 of 6 from 3-point range. Bobby Capobianco added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Crusaders (24-7, 13-3), who already had clinched the No. 1 seed in next week’s conference tournament.

Alec Brown led the Phoenix (16-14, 10-6) with 15 points, and Keifer Sykes had 14. The loss, combined with Wright State’s victory, dropped Green Bay to the No. 4 seed and cost the Phoenix a first-round bye.

Valparaiso scored the last six points of the first half to lead 29-20 at halftime, then ran away with the game after the break. The Crusaders shot 60 percent from the floor and led by as many as 24 in the closing minutes.
