CHEHALIS — A 25-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to a minimum of 37 years in prison on rape and murder charges in the death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter.

The Chronicle reports James Reeder was sentenced Wednesday in Lewis County Superior Court.

In an Alford plea agreement in January Reeder admitted there was evidence to convict him in the death last May of Korlynn Fister. She died of a blow to the head and drowning.
