GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Jamal Webb had 19 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals on Saturday and North Dakota won its regular-season finale, defeating Southern Utah 68-61.
Josh Schuler scored 16 points and Troy Huff added 15 for the winners. North Dakota (15-15, 12-8) will be the No. 3 seed in next week’s Big Sky Conference tournament.
A.J. Hess had 16 points to lead the Thunderbirds (11-19, 8-12), who have lost seven Big Sky games in a row — their only win came against Cal State Northridge on Feb. 23 in a nonconference game. Damon Heuir scored 12 and Cal Hanks had 10 points for Southern Utah.
