WASHINGTON (AP) — Martina Hingis will join the Washington Kastles of World TeamTennis after her Hall of Fame induction in July.

The Kastles announced Tuesday that Hingis will join the club on July 15, two days after she is enshrined in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I.

Hingis played for the New York Sportimes the last two years and is the reigning female MVP of the league.

She joins a Kastles roster that includes Venus Williams.

The Kastles have won back-to-back WTT titles, going undefeated both times.
