Man injured at Pasco onion-processing plant

PASCO — Firefighters used special equipment to extricate a worker who became caught in machinery at an onion-processing plant in Pasco.

KVEW reports the man suffered injuries to his right arm and shoulder in the accident Wednesday afternoon at the Freeze Pack plant.

He was flown to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
