Letter: Route cost depletes all our wallets

The Columbian
Published: March 14, 2013, 5:00pm

Bonneville Power Administration is going to cost all of us a great deal of money with its chosen route for the huge new 500kv power line. The Central Alternative is the second-most expensive route and, as rate payers, we will all get to pay the bill. There is something very wrong with this, especially given the current economic issues in Clark and Cowlitz counties. I don’t think we can afford to just let this happen. Please make your voice heard to stop BPA from using the proposed route.
