COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Justin Morrow scored in the 74th minute to pull the San Jose Earthquakes even with the Columbus Crew in a 1-1 tie Saturday.

Morrow scored for the first time since May 2, firing a rising strike from 18 yards that landed in the upper right corner. Unmarked at the left of the box, he scored off a pass from Ramiro Corrales.

The Crew (1-1-1) took the lead in the 68th minute when Brazilian defender Glauber scored his first goal in his third MLS game, converting a diving header off a corner kick by Federico Higuain.

San Jose (1-1-1) almost opened the scoring in the 61st minute, but Chris Wondolowski’s shot from inside the penalty area was cleared off the goal line by defender Chad Marshall.
