Letter: Budget bill full of pork

The Columbian
Published: March 16, 2013, 5:00pm

I think it would be revealing to see how much “pork barrel” legislation is added by each party to the funding bill passed in the U.S. House of Representatives to keep the government running until Sept. 30.

If they were at all interested in reducing spending, they would not be adding pork to every bill that gets passed, regardless of the purpose of the bill.
