The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Northeast 50th Avenue will host its sixth annual “Life of Christ” event this week. The church will be transformed into an interactive “land of Israel,” with backdrops, artworks, live actors and music. Visitors will view displays depicting Christ’s birth, life, ministry and resurrection. There will be two children’s rooms with crafts, storytelling and dress-up.

The event is free at: Thursday, noon to 6 p.m.; Friday, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The church is at 9728 N.E. 50th Ave. Visit http://lifeofchristevent.blogspot.com to learn more and see the detailed schedule of music and other performances.
