Virgil Green will be trying to build his boxing résumé, and Julian Dutkel will be seeking a successful debut as a professional fighter on Saturday in Tacoma as the Vancouver boxers take part in Battle at the Boat 91.

Green (5-1 as a pro) will take on Dave Petryk (3-3-1) in a six-round welterweight bout that is the semi-main event at the Emerald Queen Casino.

The card is highlighted by a main event featuring Zahir Raheem (31-3-0, 18 knockouts) of Philadelphia against Toppenish’s Santos Pakau (28-7-2, 11 knockouts). In 2005, Raheem upset lightweight champion Erik Morales. Saturday’s fight is his return to competition after a two-year layoff.

Green, who holds the Northwest junior welterweight title, defeated Nate Serrano in his most recent fight.

Dutkel has a record of 4-3 as an amateur boxer and is 3-0 in amateur mixed martial arts matches. The Clark College student will take on Calvin Medley in a matchup of first-time pros.Tickets for Battle at the Boat 91 can be purchased at the Emerald Queen Casino box office or through www.ticketmaster.com.
