MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Sarah Davis scored 1:39 into overtime and Minnesota beat Boston College 3-2 on Friday in the NCAA Women’s Frozen Four semifinals for its 48th straight victory.

Corinne Broyles stopped a slap shot by Bethany Brausen, but Davis picked up the rebound, skated left and lifted a shot behind the sprawling netminder.

Hannah Brandt and Becky Kortum scored third-period goals for the Gophers (40-0-0), the defending national champion. Noora Raty finished with 26 saves.

Minnesota will face Boston University or Mercyhurst on Sunday in the final.

Emily Field and Lexi Bender scored for the Eagles (27-7-3).

Field scored on the power play late in the second period for Boston College, and Brandt countered early in the third with a power-play goal for the Gophers. Kortum and Bender scored 2 minutes apart late in the period.
