ZAPATA, Texas (AP) — Keith Combs held onto the lead in the Bassmaster Elite Series’ Falcon Slam on Saturday, a pound ahead of Rick Clunn with one day left.
Combs, from Huntington, had a catch of 20 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday in 100-degree-plus heat to run his three-day total to 83-3. Clunn, from Ava., Mo., caught five fish that weighed 36-14, the largest single-day bag in the first three days.
