WACO, Texas (AP) — Brittney Griner got another dunk for the Baylor fans seeing her at home for the last time.

The 6-foot-8 Griner had her 16th career dunk, her second in this NCAA tournament, with a one-handed slam in the first half Tuesday night against Florida State.

Following a Florida State basket, Griner’s dunk came on the break. Freshman guard Niya Johnson threw a pass ahead to Griner, who took one step without a dribble before slamming it home with 4 minutes left in the first half for a 43-18 lead.

Only six other women have ever dunked in a college game. That group had 15 dunks combined.

The most by anyone else was the seven by Tennessee’s Candace Parker. Griner has nine in her senior season.
