CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng and guard Kirk Hinrich will miss Thursday’s playoff game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Deng has flu-like symptoms and was a late scratch from the lineup. Hinrich is missing his second straight game because of a bruised left calf, another big blow for a team trying to close out this first-round series. The Bulls took a 3-2 series lead into the game.

Besides Deng, Taj Gibson and Nate Robinson were battling flu symptoms. Robinson, however, was starting at point guard in Hinrich’s place.

With Deng out, Jimmy Butler moved from shooting guard to small forward. Marco Belinelli started at shooting guard.

The Nets’ Reggie Evans was also dealing with flu symptoms, but was starting at power forward.
