PORTLAND — Police say a car that sped away from a traffic stop crashed into another car Monday night in northeast Portland and caught fire.

Police say the driver helped a woman passenger out of the car, then ran away. The 32-year-old man was tracked down by a police dog and arrested.

He was treated at a hospital, along with his passenger and the driver of the other car who were injured in the collision.
