ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have claimed linebacker Cory Greenwood and offensive guard Derek Hardman off waivers.

The team announced the moves Tuesday.

Greenwood was released by the Kansas City Chiefs last week after playing 48 games for them over the previous three seasons, primarily on special teams.

Hardman started in four games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010 and played in three games for them in each of the last two years.
