NEW YORK (AP) — Joel Rosario, who rode Orb to victory in the Kentucky Derby, guided Mine Over Matter to a one-length win in the mud Thursday at the $83,300 Corma Ray Stakes at Belmont Park.

A 6-year-old trained by Mike Hushion, Mine Over Matter improved to 7 for 39. Five of those wins have come on wet tracks.

Rosario captured the Derby in the mud last weekend, and splashed home a winner again. His mount covered the seven furlongs in 1:22.99 in the race for New York breds.

Mine Over Matter paid $4.80, $2.90 and $2.10 as the 7-5 favorite. Be Bullish returned $2.90 and $2.10 while Fiddlers Afleet paid $2.10 to show.
