The Fort Vancouver National Trust is looking for about 300 volunteers for the Independence Day at Fort Vancouver celebration.

The event was attended by more than 35,000 people last year. Volunteer shifts are generally a few hours long and involve selling and collecting tickets, working at the information booth, serving water, attending the parking lot or working in the adult beverage pavilion.

Volunteers get free admission and a parking pass, volunteer T-shirt and reusable water bottle.

Visit Independence Day at Fort Vancouver or call the trust at 360-992-1808 for information.
