Jets claim WR Davis off waivers from Giants

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have claimed wide receiver Marcus Davis off waivers from the New York Giants and released wide receiver Antavious Wilson.

Davis, who signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent last week, was released last Saturday. He had 105 catches for 1,827 yards and 13 touchdowns in four seasons at Virginia Tech, including a team-leading 51 receptions for 953 yards and five scores last season.

Wilson signed last week with the Jets and participated in rookie camp. He had 69 catches for 741 yards and nine touchdowns last season for Marshall.
