NEW YORK (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says two members of the New York Jets’ front office will not have their contracts renewed as new general manager John Idzik continues to make personnel changes.

Neither assistant general manager Scott Cohen nor director of football administration Ari Nissim will be back, according to the source. The person spoke to The Associated Press on Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the team had not announced the moves.

Both Cohen and Nissim were key members of former GM Mike Tannenbaum’s front office. Cohen had interviewed for the vacant GM job when Tannenbaum was fired in January.

JoJo Wooden, the team’s assistant director of player personnel, and scout Kevin Kelly left the Jets last week to join the San Diego Chargers’ front office.
