Letter: Will of the people being trampled

The Columbian
Published: May 14, 2013, 5:00pm

How shameful. Blatant cronyism. Tom Mielke, David Madore, Don Benton.

Mielke and Madore should be recalled. Benton should be fired.

Kudos to former mayor Royce Pollard for speaking out. And congratulations to the many who attended the meetings to speak against this Benton appointment.

The will of the people has been trampled in this case. Hang in there, citizens, and recall Commissioners Mielke and Madore. Let them see that the public is not the uninterested and uncaring people they thought them to be.
