ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins have signed fifth-round draft pick Chris Thompson and free-agent receiver Lance Lewis.
The deals were announced Wednesday.
Thompson is a running back who was injured for much of his college career at Florida State. He broke two vertebrae during the 2011 season and tore the ACL in his left knee last year. He’s the third drafted player signed by the Redskins this week, joining linebacker Brandon Jenkins and safety Bacarri Rambo.
Lewis, who went to East Carolina, spent training camp with the Redskins before last season but was released in August.
