BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Evan Gordon is coming home.

Indiana announced Thursday that the former Arizona State guard will transfer to Bloomington and enroll in graduate school so he can be eligible immediately next season. Gordon, an Indianapolis native, is the brother of former Indiana star and NBA guard Eric Gordon.

Evan Gordon left the Sun Devils after just one season in which he averaged 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals. He’ll help fortify an Indiana roster that will look very different next season. Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller have declared for the NBA draft, three seniors graduated and Maurice Creek and Remy Abell have announced they will transfer.

Gordon started his career at Liberty University in Virginia.
