Interim Vancouver Police Chief Chris Sutter is back at work today after he collapsed Thursday, according to Vancouver Police Spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

Sutter collapsed and appeared to hit his head on the cement of the courtyard at the Clark County Public Service Center Thursday morning at the end of the Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony. The event was attended by about 80 people, both law enforcement and citizens.

City Manager Eric Holmes said that Sutter was taken by paramedics to an area hospital as a precaution and was released shortly after and went home.
