INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Sam Schmidt is content to wait another day before hiring a third driver for the Indianapolis 500.
The owner of Schmidt Peterson Motorsports told The Associated Press on Friday he has not hired a driver for the No. 99 car but might if his two other drivers safely qualify Saturday.
