Nonprofit housing organization Affordable Community Environments of Southwest Washington is now a subsidiary corporation of REACH Community Development of Portland. The combined portfolio of REACH and ACE includes nearly 1,900 housing units. Of that total, ACE has 198 family, workforce, senior and disabled housing units in Clark County. ACE and REACH have each been in operation for 31 years.

“This partnership comes at a critical time when nonprofits, big and small, are looking toward strategies for long-term sustainability,” said Doug McLain, ACE board member and treasurer, in a news release. “Combining resources, knowledge and our collective reputations will allow ACE to have a bigger and better impact in Southwest Washington.”
