A Tacoma woman was in stable condition Monday night at a local hospital after the van she was riding in overturned on Interstate 205 Sunday evening.

Around 6:14 p.m. Sunday, Sang L. Yoou, 65, was driving a 1996 Ford Econovan near the southbound exit to Mill Plain Boulevard when a left tire came apart, causing the van to fishtail. The van went into the grass median and rolled over once, coming to rest on its wheels, said the Washington State Patrol.

Yoou’s passenger, Sang S. Yoou, was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where she remained Sunday night.
