BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Two Massachusetts men accused of secretly recording and selling a prank phone call involving two NFL general managers face federal wiretapping charges in western New York.

Prosecutors said Wednesday that Plymouth residents Joshua Barber and Nicholas Kaiser have been charged with arranging the March 8 call between then-Buffalo Bills GM Buddy Nix and Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik. The call ended up being posted on the website Deadspin.com.

Prosecutors say Barber first called Nix posing as Dominik and then called Dominik and used the conference call function to link the calls for the conversation, recorded by Kaiser.

The men are due in court in Buffalo on June 4. They could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

A message left for Kaiser hasn’t been returned. There’s no answer at a number for Barber.
