HILLSBORO, Ore. — A 38-year-old Aloha man who coached a girls softball team in Beaverton was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for sexually abusing a teenage girl.

Jeremy Dickey pleaded guilty in Washington County Circuit Court to sex abuse and other charges.

The Oregonian reports the victim was not a member of the softball team he coached.

Dickey apologized in court for failing kids and parents who trusted him.
