NEW YORK (AP) — Rosie Napravnik is set to become the first female jockey to ride in all three Triple Crown races in the same year, and the first to try and win one aboard a filly.

Trainer Todd Pletcher says Napravnik is “very, very likely” to be his rider for the filly Unlimited Budget in the Belmont Stakes on June 8.

Pletcher said Thursday a final decision on whether Unlimited Budget takes on the boys in the Belmont will be made after a scheduled workout over the weekend.

Napravnik rode Mylute to a fifth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby and a third-place finish in the Preakness.

Julie Krone is the only female jockey to win a Triple Crown race, taking the 1993 Belmont aboard Colonial Affair.
