Meet Millie, a sweet and gentle German shepherd mix, looking for a place to call her own. Millie was a stray that no one came to claim so she is now looking for a family to love. This girl knows sit and takes treats gently. Since she is a little older she would like a more calm house with children 10 and older. She would also like to meet any dogs or children she may be living with. Are you looking for a new best friend?

Kurt is a very sweet and lovable 1-year-old white with brown tabby. He was returned to us when his owners could no longer care for him. He was adopted with his friend Ozark; we aren’t requiring them to go home together, but they sure would like it! All Kurt needs to do is meet any children you may have in your home just to make sure they all get along and he could be yours! Ask how to adopt today!

These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
