North Carolina A&T runs past Lynchburg 59-12

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Tarik Cohen ran for 130 yards and scored one of the six total rushing touchdowns for North Carolina A&T as they moved past Lynchburg 59-12 Saturday.

The Aggies (5-3) faced an early 6-0 deficit, but stormed back quickly as Lewis Kindle threw touchdown passes to Darren Bullock and Joseph Spann. The next six touchdowns for NC A&T came on the ground as Desmond Lawrence, Ricky Lewis, Cohen, Dominique Drake and Kwashaun Quick each found the end zone to fuel the rout.

The Dragons (2-6) led early in the first quarter when Emmanuel Yeager hit Devon Stewart for a 54-yard touchdown on their first play of their first possession. Aaron Johnson returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.

Kindle finished 17 of 23 with 229 yards.

NC A&T forced seven turnovers, picking off Yeager three times and recovering four fumbles.
