ST. LOUIS (AP) — Tennessee Titans free safety Michael Griffin is inactive for the first time in his career with a right quadriceps injury, ending a streak of 103 consecutive starts.

Griffin is a two-time Pro Bowl player and has started all but seven times in seven seasons. Titans offensive tackle David Stewart also is inactive with a shoulder injury Sunday against St. Louis.

The Rams are without running back Daryl Richardson, who had been questionable with a foot injury. Shelley Smith started at right guard in place of Harvey Dahl, out at least a few weeks with a knee injury.

George Wilson started in place of Griffin, who had been questionable and missed two days of practice. Stewart had also been questionable.

Titans middle linebacker Colin McCarthy started for the second straight week in place of Moise Fokou (knee), who did not practice all week.
