Libraries host health care enrollment sessions

Clark County Public Health is offering free help with enrolling in health insurance plans at local libraries throughout the month.

The health department will supply in-person assistants trained to answer questions and help residents enroll in health plans on the state-based insurance exchange, Washington Healthplanfinder. The state exchange, http://www.wahealthplanfinder.org, was created under the Affordable Care Act.

Here are the details of upcoming sessions:

o 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Washougal Community Library, 1661 C St.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Goldendale Community Library, 131 W. Burgen St.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at The Mall Library Connection, inside Westfield Vancouver mall, 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 285.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Ridgefield Community Library, 210 N. Main Ave.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Woodland Community Library, 770 Park St.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Battle Ground Community Library, 1207 S.E. Eighth Way. This session will also include information for small businesses.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave.

o 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Stevenson Community Library, 120 N.W. Vancouver Ave.
