Minnehaha — Scott and Melinda Van Hoomissen spend their down time playing Big Buck Hunter at Jake’s Bar and Grill on St. Johns Boulevard. Big Buck Hunter, a bar arcade game, is holding its sixth-annual World Championship in Chicago this weekend, and the Van Hoomissens will be there. They’re “one of the most dominating sets of players heading to the event,” according to Big Buck Hunter. The tournament’s top prize is $15,000, and more than $63,000 in prizes will be given out over the course of the weekend.
