Not your average jack-o’-lanterns

Sunnyside — Forget the boring old jack-o’-lantern, kids at Cornerstone Christian Academy went all out this fall by transforming pumpkins into characters from their favorite books. The young kids decorated more than 25 pumpkins for their “Storybook Pumpkin Patch,” which included a smiling Charlotte from “Charlotte’s Web,” the feline star of “The Cat in the Hat” and even “Captain Underpants” dressed in, yes, his underwear.
