BALTIMORE (AP) — Chris Moller’s 27-yard field goal as time expired gave Morgan State a 24-23 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.

Cody Jones connected on a pair of 38-yard field goals early in the fourth quarter, the second of which gave NC A&T a 23-14 lead with 8:49 to go.

Morgan State (4-6, 4-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) answered immediately with a 12-play, 73-yard drive capped by a 9-yard touchdown pass from Seth Higgins to Antonio Jefferson. The drive, which took just 2:35 off the clock, was aided by two 15-yard penalties (first a personal foul, then pass interference) against the Aggies (5-4, 2-4).

On the ensuing drive, Morgan State forced a three-and-out, getting the ball back on its 46-yard line with 4:27 remaining.

The Bears then marched 44 yards in 18 plays, including a 5-yard pass from Higgins to Tubotien Taylor on fourth-and-2, setting up the game-winning field goal.
