NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have affixed the names of the first three members of their “Ring of Honor” to the upper deck facade in the Superdome.

The names of Archie Manning, Rickey Jackson and Willie Roaf were unveiled during halftime of Sunday night’s game with the Dallas Cowboys.

Jackson and Roaf have both been inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the past four years. Jackson played linebacker for the Saints from 1981-93, while Roaf played left tackle for New Orleans from 1993-2001.

Manning, who played quarterback for the Saints from 1971-82, says not all of his afternoons and nights in the Superdome as a player were memorable, given how the club struggled during his career, but notes that he’ll always remember Sunday night fondly.
