LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Travis Wallace scored 13 points, including four down the stretch, and pulled down eight rebounds to lead North Florida to a thrilling 72-70 win over the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Monday night.

North Florida (1-1) took a 66-65 lead after Beau Beech hit two free throws with 3:39 to play. UALR (0-1) couldn’t find their shooting touch, going without a field goal for the rest of the game.

With the Ospreys up one, Wallace tipped in a rebound, pushing the lead to 70-67.

After making two free throws, the Trojans fouled Jalen Nesbitt, but he hit both freebies, giving North Florida the 72-69 lead.

North Florida fouled Josh Hagins, not allowing a 3-point attempt. He made his first and intentionally missed his second. UALR got the rebound, but both last-second chances missed.

Hagins led UALR with 14 points while Will Neighbour and Leroy Isler each had 12.
