St Francis (Pa.) tops Navy 60-57

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Malik Harmon had 20 points and four steals to lead St. Francis over Navy 60-57 on Monday night.

St. Francis (1-1) took the lead for good 60-57 off of Greg Brown three-point play with 56 seconds left. The Red Flash held the Midshipmen scoreless on their last three possessions.

Will Kelly had a double-double for Navy (0-2) with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Worth Smith added 16 for the Midshipmen.

Both teams were evenly matched in a game that saw 16 ties, 11 lead changes and a halftime score of 28-28. Neither team led by more than six points.

The Midshipmen outrebounded the Red Flash 38-24, but turned the ball over 17 times. Poor shooting also hurt Navy as they shot 3 for 14 from 3-point range.
