BOSTON, Mass. (AP) — Dom Morris posted a double-double scoring a career-high 27 points with 10 rebounds, guiding Boston University to a commanding 91-65 victory over Mass.-Lowell on Wednesday night.
Boston University, who started off their season 2-0 for the first time in 12 years, scored a school-record 64 points in the first half.
The Terriers, who led by 32 points with less than two minutes into the second half, held the momentum the entire game.
Maurice Watson Jr. posted 18 points with 8 rebounds, joining four other players in double-digit scoring.
Mass.-Lowell, coming off last week’s loss to No. 7 Michigan, shot 45 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc. Top-scorer Akeem Williams had 18 points alongside Chad Holley with 16.
