Old Dominion races past Campbell 42-14

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Taylor Heinicke threw three touchdown passes and teammates Antonio Vaughan and Larry Pinkard each finished with over 150 yards receiving Saturday as Old Dominion downed Campbell 42-14.

Vaughan caught eight passes for 171 yards. Pinkard caught six passes for 156 yards with the longest reception being a game-high 74 yards for the Monarchs (8-3). David Washington threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to Vaughan with 5:13 left in the fourth quarter for the final score of the game. Heinicke was 23 of 29 for 341 yards passing, after averaging 355.1 yards passing per game.

Brian Hudson threw for 278 yards and one touchdown for Campbell (2-9) in the Fighting Camels first game against an FBS member in program history. Campbell pushed back its regular season finale against rival Davidson to November 23rd after the late addition of the matchup with Old Dominion.
