Stone lifts Southwest Missouri past IUPUI 76-68

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Tyler Stone scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lift Southeast Missouri State to a 76-68 to IUPUI on Saturday.

Antonius Cleveland added 15 points and Darrian Gray had 11 for the Redhawks (2-1), who went on a late 12-0 run to beat the Jaguars (0-3).

Ian Chiles had 24 points, Khufu Najee 22 and Mitch Patton 13 for IUPUI, but the Jags had no points off their bench.

After Southwest Missouri grabbed a 42-35 lead at the half, IUPUI took a 59-56 lead on Najee’s 3-pointer with 8:58 left. The Jags’ last lead was 65-63 on a Patton layup, but at 2:07 Gray hit a 3 to put the Redhawks up for good at 68-65. Stone followed with another 3 and four straight free throws for a 10-point lead with 16 seconds left.
