Efraimson wins Nike Cross Regional

Camas High School junior Alexa Efraimson won the Nike Cross Regional cross country meet in Boise, Idaho in 17 minutes, 27.1 seconds.

Efraimson won the 5,000-meter race by nine seconds.

Efraimson led the Camas girls team, running under the club name, the Clark County Renegades, to a third-place finish in the team standings.

With the win, Efraimson has earned an automatic individual berth to the Nike Cross Nationals.

Also running for the Renegades were Alissa Pudlitzke (10th, 18:47), Marley LeFore (44th, 19:40), Maddie Woodson (91st, 20:21), Mckenzie Good (99th, 20:28) and Alexa Jones (146th, 21:40).The top two teams automatically qualify for the Nike Cross Nationals on Dec. 7 at Portland Meadows race track. Teams the finish third or fourth are placed into a pool from which four nationwide at-large teams will be added to the field.
