COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Darrius Parker scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Air Force to a 78-51 victory over Colorado Christian on Wednesday night.

Parker was 7 of 8, including a 3-pointer, and was among four Falcons hitting double digits. Max Yon had 13 points and seven steals, which tied a school record. Justin Hammonds added 12 points and eight rebounds, and Tre’ Coggins with 10 points.

Air Force (3-2) shot 55 percent from the field but got off to a slow start, with neither team scoring in the first 4 minutes. Yon scored the first points of the game when he rebounded his own missed jumper and drove for the layup, giving Air Force a lead that was never challenged.

Mike Brown led the Cougars with 10 points and five assists. The game counted as an exhibition match for Colorado Christian, a Division II school.
