FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets wide receivers Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Kerley were limited at practice, although Holmes is expected to play at Baltimore on Sunday.
Holmes returned last Sunday after missing five games with a hamstring injury and had two catches for 71 yards at Buffalo. But he sat out practice Wednesday, fueling speculation that he tweaked the hamstring.
Coach Rex Ryan said Thursday he thinks Holmes will play, and so did the receiver, who said flatly, “Why wouldn’t I?”
Kerley dislocated his left elbow against New Orleans on Nov. 3, but has been catching passes one-handed while wearing a brace on the elbow. His status is uncertain.
