DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Dyami Starks scored 19 points as Bryant beats New Hampshire 60-55 on Sunday in a game that included a 40-minute power failure delay.

Starks, the nation’s sixth leading scorer going in to the game, had a cooler hand (shooting 5 of 14) but managed to lead all scorers. Alex Francis had 16 points.

New Hampshire (2-3) led 26-23 at the half but gave it up to Bryant (3-2) before re-gaining the lead by three with 6:00 left. Bryant again took the lead (54-50) following four successful free throws by Starks at the 4 minute mark. That’s when the lights went out and play resumed about 40 minutes later.

After the break, the Bulldogs Corey Maynard hit a 3-pointer and a lay-up, and grabbed a crucial rebound and steal, all in the final minute, preserving the win.

Jacoby Armstrong and Jordon Bronner had 15 points apiece for the Wildcats.
