NEW YORK (AP) — Outfielder Chris Young has finalized a $7.25 million, one-year contract with the New York Mets.
The 30-year-old, who agreed to the deal last week, figures to start either in center or a corner outfield spot.
He was coming off a down season with Oakland in which he hit .200 with 12 homers and 40 RBIs after the Athletics acquired him from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
