Clark College Athletic Report 11/26

VOLLEYBALL

Record: 15-19 overall

Last week: Clark went 1-2 at the NWAACC Tournament to complete its season. Clark opened with a 3-0 loss to eventual champion Blue Mountain; defeated Shoreline 2-1 in the losers bracket; lost to Tacoma 2-0 and was eliminated.

All-Star: Sophomore Karissa Paltridge was named first-team West Region.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Record: 2-0 overall.

Last week: Won at Portland 92-75. Sean Price, a Columbia River grad, led Clark with 26 points.

Next games: Clark at Peninsula, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Port Angeles; Clark at Clackamas, 4 p.m. Dec. 7.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Record: 2-1 overall.

Last week: Went 2-1 at Yakima Tip-Off Tournament, winning the consolation bracket. Clark lost to Blue Mountain 60-54, beat Yakima Valley 83-68, beat Walla Walla 73-62. Brooke Bowen, a Skyview High grad, had 50 points and 19 rebounds in Clark’s three games. Nicholette Bond, a Battle Ground grad, had 37 points and 12 rebounds total.

Next game: Clark at Clackamas, 2 p.m. Dec. 7.
