CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Ryan Williams scored 13 points, while Jalen Jackson and DeShone McClure each added 12 as Central Arkansas used a late surge to defeat Troy 60-53 Tuesday night.

The Bears (2-3) overcame an early eight-point deficit in the second half with a 10-0 run sparked by three baskets from Oliver Wells. Phabian Glasco broke a 41-41 tie with a dunk, and Williams and Jackson each sank 3-pointers to put Central Arkansas up by six with 2:37 remaining.

After two free throws by Williams, Troy (2-3) pulled within five on a 3-pointer by Hunter Williams, but with just 46 seconds remaining. Williams made another pair of free throws and Jackson added a layup and late dunk to maintain a cushion.

Glasco scored nine points for the Bears and Daouda Berete finished with nine rebounds.

Antoine Myers led the Trojans with 12 points and Kevin Thomas added 11 with seven boards.
